I started raising
Bloodhounds as a way to stay at home with our daughter. And
then our son, Christian, came along! I am a Licensed Massage
Therapist and still work away from a few days a
week but hope to eventually cut back my workload and spend
more time homeschooling Danielle & Christian and
playing with our precious puppies! We live on our family farm
in The Ozarks of Southwest Missouri. Our dogs get to spend
hours running and splashing in “the river” Flat Creek and
hiking in the forest. We are outdoor advocates and our
bloodhounds love it. Most of our dogs love riding in the car.
There is a couple still a little apprehensive but we are
working on them.
Our dogs are AKC
registered and we have champion bloodlines. Some of our dogs
are triple registered with AKC, APRI, and CKC.
Like I mentioned before
we are a small breeder. We raise Bloodhounds Only. I’ve
learned that there is a lot of “Kennels” out there that
concentrate on output. We are NOT a puppy mill. We do not sell
to brokers or pet stores because we want to know the home that
our puppies will be living in forever. We have a relationship
with each and every dog and puppy. Each one receives a lot of
attention and the best healthcare possible. We feed Proplan
large breed adult/large breed puppy. We supplement dam’s
before whelping to insure the easiest labor possible. And our
moms just love to receive a massage to help with all of the
labor discomfort. We DONOT breed our dogs every heat cycle.
(Which means that it is possible to breed a dog every 6-7
months, approx.)
My mission is to breed
and raise quality Bloodhounds and bring as much love and joy
to you and your family as we have received from our dogs. If
you could see our daughter with them you would know that they
are loved endlessly. Not only by her but by us all. I
got introduced to Bloodhounds through my mother, Kay of
Tranquil Acres. I've helped with her bloodhounds and like
myself, she owns only a select few. They have 3 females
and 1 male. And I never thought I would get my own dogs until
the day I took "Tori" to the vet for my mom. Let me tell you
she had me so wrapped around her "paw" by the time we got
there I knew I had to have some of my own.
Let us help you in
finding that forever pet. You won’t be
disappointed!
